Lions Day with the United Nations in London

A wonderful event once again.

President Special Olypmics Europe Eurasia, Lion David Evangelista received a standing ovation for his keynote address.

During the 2 hour programme in this prestigious building that proudly boasts being the “Mother of Parliaments", an updated Partnership agreement. This is what drives impact, scale and reach. Special Olympics Europe Eurasia is excited to share that Special Olympics Great Britain and the Lions Clubs of the British Isles signed a renewed national partnership to drive “Mission: Inclusion” to more and more communities around the world. Inclusion through service empowers countless individuals around the world to give their best - on and off the field of play. When we #ChoosetoInclude, we all win.

Personally, I was proud to be with then International President Jim Ervin in Antalya at the Europa Forum in 2000 when the Global seed of partnership was planted by Jim Ervin with Tim Shriver.
